Harbour.Space Institute of Technology is hosting EduFuture Talk Barcelona: Ideas & Connections this Friday, November 21 at 5:00 pm, bringing together voices from across Europe to explore how AI is transforming education and what the near future may hold. The evening will combine strategic insights, a panel discussion on what students should be trained for in an AI-driven world, and meaningful networking with featured panelists Stephanie Schwab, Nico Deblauwe, Luiz Fittipaldi, Galina Kaleeva, and Maxim Musin.

This event focuses on Product Design and AI-assisted programming, sharing practical experience from talks and workshops held over the past nine months in Limassol, Baku, Bangkok, and Barcelona. We’ll show how agentic AI tools can accelerate software development by over 100× and how small teams can compete with much larger, better-funded ones. The goal is to empower local creators, strengthen regional competitiveness, and explore why the coming changes in software development are especially promising for Southern Europe. The event will be in English, with some Spanish support, and is part of the Rebels AI Alchemy series dedicated to helping creators ship faster using generative AI.

We’re hosting a sumo robot competition where five teams will build simple robots and battle them in the ring at the end of November, with the goal of pushing opponents out. No prior experience is needed, participation is free, and all components are provided. Along the way, you’ll learn to use Maker.Space equipment, get access to the 3D printer, and be able to use it later for your own projects.
