Final Assignment - Pitch your idea

Methodology

Students will be joining groups to work on their business ideas. If the group already exists from the previous course, students can choose to work in the same group to continue with the same business idea that they have.

The final assignment of pitching the business idea and the mini business plan will be given from day one. Students are expected to work in groups on it as soon as possible to deliver the best possible outcome on the final lecture.

Students are expected to incorporate knowledge obtained from each lecture into their business plan (as they see fit).

Guest speakers will be invited to share their knowledge in some sessions to give a more diverse perspective.

*The Final Assignment:

Students are expected to form into teams to develop a Pitch Deck and a mini business plan per team (more details will be given). Each team will get a chance to do a 5 min fundraising pitch and another 15 min chance to hear Q&A from the small judge panel (pitching to the experts from the startup ecosystem). Judges' scores determine the 10% of the grade a student will obtain from the course. The Pitch and the mini business plan will be evaluated based on the content covered in the course.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
20% - Class Participation
70% - Final Assignment
10% - External Judges score
