This course will explore the different stages of how to use email marketing: defining the objectives, designing the campaign, choosing the technology, setting up the infrastructure, the KPIs needed to measure the success, and using data visualization to demonstrate the results.

We will also discuss challenges that email marketers face along the way with tips and techniques to avoid and overcome them, and we’ll explore the future of email to keep you one step ahead.

All students will have an email address where test email marketing campaigns can be sent to.

Methodology

Lectures, workshops, exercises, presentation, group work.

Grading

The final grade will be composed of the following criteria:
10% - Team participation presentation task
20% - Class participation
70% - Final project (completion of a brief email marketing campaign based on specific requirements)
